I specially like the first two modified pictures. I believe the strong contrast makes them very intense; it showcases the complexity of them. For the second two modified pictures, I do not think the effects make them stronger or weaker, I think the almost monochromatic (sepia and red) part of it with a very light contrast makes them look more dull. Furthermore, although I think the soft focus is a very interesting special effect, I do not really like it for this picture. The last one is one of my favorite also because of the highlight/shadow ratio. The extra light, the tint of blue and the brightness of the colors makes it a very sharp image.
